Southern Districts is a member club of the Horse Riding Clubs Association of South Australia. [HRCA].We try to cater for beginner riders through to the more experienced horses and riders. During the year we run various competitions and instruction days in age groups and abilities. Riders are expected to 'sign on' at the beginning of each rallie which counts as a 'qualie'. Qualification are needed to compete at HRCA events, such as Dressage, ODE and Interclub Hacking, Novelties and Show Jumping. They also count towards trophies at the end of the season.
Southern Districts 'share' their grounds with Reynella Horse Trials.It is part of our lease agreement that our members support their events by jump judging, pencilling, etc. We also run the canteen at these events which is our main fundraiser. Every rider is expected to help at at least 2 of these days to be eligible for trophies at the end of the season.
